Google's cooked up a new tool in its labs that converts SWF files into HTML5 for use on devices that can't run Flash, including those made by Apple.
The software taps into Google's Swiffy service to help Flash developers embrace Web standards by converting their Flash content.
The company is working closely with CreateJS to help Flash developers -- and Adobe itself -- move to Web standards. The technology dovetails with an upcoming Flash Pro CS6 feature, too.
