Tim Cook announces Apple Pay is finally here.
Apple's been gaining more partners since it announced the service last month and it's ready to take it live.
CNET got a demo of how Apple Pay will work on iPhones at checkout scanners and online for iPad users. The service debuts Monday, October 20.
Apple on Thursday announces updates to its popular iPad line as well as to its desktop computers and operating system. It also reveals that Apple Pay will launch next Monday for consumers. The event comes one month after the company debuted its new line of iPhones and Apple Watch. CNET.com's Kara Tsuboi reports.
