Mercedes-Benz's automotive history can be traced all the way back to the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, which it claims as the first gasoline-powered automobile. Currently, the German luxury automaker offers a full lineup of vehicles in nearly every segment imaginable, from the pint-sized A-class up to the GLS-class three-row crossover. It even builds two cargo vans, the Sprinter and Metris.
Mercedes-Benz M-Class promises better fuel economy and improved performance. Two models, ML350 4MATIC and ML350 BlueTEC, will debut in September.
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML320 CDI is a very drivable car, but you'll pay dearly to option it up with cabin electronics, should you live in a state where you can buy it. We're impressed by the off-road equipment, but who would really take this car into the mud?
