In a normal economy, we'd expect that Falcon Northwest's new Core i7 FragBox 2 would wow us with fast performance in a compact case. Instead, the price of this system as configured has been severely undercut by a competitor. An improved warranty takes the edge off somewhat, but the new market reality makes it hard to recommend this PC.

Falcon Northwest's high-end, preconfigured FragBox 2 leans on a pair of top-of-the-line ATI 3D cards to achieve some of the fastest 3D scores we've seen. You might rightly wait for Intel's new CPUs to ship before making a pricey PC purchase, but if you buy this system now, you'll be treated to a superfast little desktop.

Falcon Northwest's new, fixed-configuration FragBox 2 is an overclocked, reasonably priced gaming rig whose small size invites you to put it pretty much wherever you want. If you're after that kind of flexibility and have reasonable gaming expectations, you'll be very happy with this PC.
