The industry trade magazine College Music Journal (CMJ) will merge with Rare Medium Group's ChangeMusic.com, which targets MP3 fans--the same group making Net music downloads so popular. CMJ has been the bible of the college and independent music scene. It will combine its editorial with ChangeMusic's MP3 sites as it tries to peg the next big artists.
