Silicon Graphics announced a low-priced Unix server for ISPs. SGI's Rack-Mount O2 server is designed to handle a high-speed T3 connection and comes with Netscape's FastTrack server software and remote management options. Optional software allows for e-commerce, mail hosting, and other services. The O2 is priced at $4,500. Separately, SGI said its midrange Origin200 servers will be bundled with software from Netscape, Internet Security Systems, and Freshwater Software, which makes software for administrative purposes.
