Short Take: OpenTV releases new wireless translation software

OpenTV, an interactive media software company, released Monday a new version of its wireless translation software Prism. Version 3.2.0 of Prism allows for conversion of HTML content into Handheld Device Markup Language (HDML) and Mobile Markup Language (MML). The new version also improves how Japanese language content is handled. "The need to transform Internet content to a multitude of other devices like wireless phones and interactive television is growing daily," OpenTV president James Ackerman said in a statement.
