Over at Suzuki's booth, the new Kizashi was getting some much needed tuner love. This Rockford-Fosgate-branded model features the expected array of high-power audio equipment.

Tucked in the back of Mazda's booth was this racing Mazda3 sedan. A stripped interior and full roll cage are the monikers of a serious racing machine.

However, Mazda's focus at the LA Auto Show was on the smaller Mazda2. The automaker brought a number of examples of the compact, including this performance concept.

H&R springs, uprated wheels and tires, and an array of Mazdaspeed accessories hint at the tuning potential of the small Mazda2 chassis.

Ford demonstrated the customization options available for the new Fiesta with this red example. Rally stripes and wheels by Works are small changes that make a huge difference in the Fiesta's appearance.

Also on hand was this Fiesta Rallycross, which is piloted in an assortment of off-road events--including the X-Games and at Pike's Peak.

Inside the Fiesta Rallycross is all business with a complete roll cage and carbon fiber panels blocking off the holes where the cabin tech used to reside. There'll be no Syncing this ride.

Meanwhile down in the exotics hall, SMS Supercars had a pair of SMS 570 Challengers. One of which (the 570X) makes 700 horsepower through the addition of an SMS supercharger.
