Jeep keeps it fancy with the 2017 Grand Cherokee Summit (pictures)
Boasting an even fancier interior than before, the Summit represents the most luxurious trim on offer.
Summit is Jeep's most luxurious trim level.
While the Grand Cherokee Summit has existed prior to New York, 2017 brings some important updates.
The exterior's been touched up with a new front fascia and grille.
Revised LED fog lamps are now part of the deal, now, too.
Naturally, there are some new wheels on offer, as well -- 20-inch, polished aluminum wheels, to be exact.
Every GC Summit comes equipped with Jeep's excellent 4x4 system, in case you want to get both fancy and dirty in the same day.
Air suspension is standard, as well.
If you still want to ramp up the fancy, there's a special Summit California Edition appearance package on offer.
Available exterior colors include light brown, blue, white, off-white, granite, red, black and brown.
But the inside is where all the magic's happening.
Now on offer is a full leather interior.
The interior sports a leather-wrapped dash, center console, door panels and seats (with fancy welting).
The interior can be ordered in one of four color schemes -- black, brown, dark brown and an indigo/gray two-tone.
All Summit models come with a suede headliner, acoustic glass with active noise cancellation and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.
Berber carpet mats are also part and parcel with the Summit experience.
If safety's what you're after, the Summit can be optioned out with blind-spot monitor, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.
Also new for 2017 are optional lane-departure warning and parking-assist systems.
