Power from the 3.8-liter V-6 engine has been bumped to 389 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Cosworth optimized the intake and exhaust with its own parts and upgraded the Coupe's engine management software.
The rest of the mod list reads like a Cosworth parts list. From the steering wheel and pedals to the carbon fiber body kit and satin-gloss paint to the performance suspension, nearly every upgrade has Cosworth's name stamped on it.
The Hyundai Veloster also get a bit of Cosworth massaging in the form of the Velocity concept. It turbocharger, intercooler, and engine internals have been upgraded to boost power to about 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque of torque, just edging out the CGRS.
From its perch atop the Hyundai booth, the most striking thing about the FuelCulture Genesis Coupe Turbo is the Dupont Hot Hues Candy Apple Red Paint, but it also features a custom widebody kit by Infinite Auto Design.
This ARK custom Veloster features, in my opinion, a good blend of styling and performance upgrades. As much attention was paid to the graphics, custom paint, and roof rack accessories as to the engine and handling upgrades.
To be honest, the BASF Mint Green Paint by Auto Explosion is the mod that grabs my attention on this Veloster Turbo customized by John Pangilinan. Look past the paint and you'll see that the upgrade list also contains custom wide bodywork, 19-inch Gram Lights wheels, and an Alpine audio system.
KW Coilovers with ARK Performance Springs get the Veloster closer to terra firma, a Whiteline rear sway bar helps keep it flat when cornering, and a Brembo Big Brake Kit brings the vehicle to a stop when asked.
Bisimoto cleverly displays the major specs for its cars with "Nutrition Facts" decals like this one. The important bit is near the top where the output is quoted at 602 wheel horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.
This massive jump in output is accomplished by slapping a massive turbo onto the Elantra GT's intake (and exhaust). Obviously, the 1.8-liter engine receives a host of upgrades to accomodate this big blower.
