2022 Honda Civic: Sharper performance and a revolutionary cabin

A new 11th-generation Honda Civic debuts for the 2022 model year and is on sale at dealers now. 

For the new model, Honda stretched the wheelbase to 107.7 inches, making it the longest sedan in its class. 

The exterior styling is cleaner with more defined side character lines, but an aggressive front end remains. 

Thanks to the rear shoulders, the rear quarter features an almost Audi-like appearance, but sadly the back has been toned down.

The range-topping Touring versions of the new Civic ride on 18-inch wheels with gray-painted insets.

While the outside of the Civic is evolutionary, the inside is a complete redo with a much cleaner layout.

The dash is much simpler and features a metal trim piece that runs the length of the cabin that also cleverly hides the climate vents. 

For infotainment, the Civic Touring features a 9-inch center touchscreen with onboard navigation, a Bose audio setup and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

EX and Touring versions of the 2022 Honda Civic are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged I4 making 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.
