2016 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT models get Go Mango retro paint

Dodge has pulled another heritage hue out of its muscle car closet, and will now slather your 2016 Dodge Charger or Challenger SRT Hellcat or 392 in Go Mango orange paint.

Unveiled in front of the Mopar faithful at the 11th annual Spring Festival of LX this past weekend, Go Mango paint is now available for order on 2016 Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT 392 and Hellcat models.

The distinctive orange-red paint (set off here on this Challenger SRT Hellcat with twin black stripes) is actually not the same exact shade of paint as the original 1970 color -- it's been "modernized."

Dodge has played this card before -- it offered a version of Go Mango on 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona models, and a version of it also appears on the slow-selling Dodge Dart for 2016.

Like all the other Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats, the Go Mango-painted model still features a tidy 707 horsepower and 204 mph top speed.
