The Honda Fit gets a new look for 2015, but retains the spacious and flexible cargo area that we loved from before.

LaneWatch camera

When the right turn signal is activated, the dashboard displays a view of the car's blindspot. This view is also useful for measuring parallel parking spots.

A large windshield is framed by thin A pillars. Forward visibility is excellent.

CVT

At the EX-L trim level, the Fit comes standard with a new continuously variable transmission.

Front-wheel drive

Power then flows to the front wheels. The CVT somewhat dulls the responsiveness of the engine, but the Fit still feels like a fun little car.

Handling

The new electric power steering loses a bit of communication when compared to the previous model, but the handling is responsive.

The interior is spacious with lots of clever little storage spaces and cupholders.

The Fit's cockpit feels simple; its steering wheel has a nice chunky rim and the controls fall nicely into the hand.

Fuel economy

The Fit is capable of up to 41 highway mpg in its most efficient configuration. I only managed 34.6 (though my driving style was fairly aggressive).

Styling

Outside, the Fit's design becomes more sporty and angular. However, it's not really what you'd call aggressive.

2015 Honda Fit

We really enjoyed our time behind the wheel of the 2015 Honda Fit. The car loses a bit of its sporty edge, but gains a more mature feeling ride.
