2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid
At the 2012 North American International Auto Show, Ford showed off its 2013 Fusion Hybrid, which could do 47 mpg in the city.
Ford expects its updated Fusion Hybrid to fetch 47 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway.
Ford believes the Fusion will stand out in each of its power train alternatives. The plug-in equivalent of the Fusion, the Ford Energi,is expected to get 100 MPGe.
Front and rear radar systems in the Fusion are part of a suite of safety features.
Other Fusion features include lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot info systems, and auto parking.
The sporty Fusion has a roof profile that forms a graceful line back towards the trunk.
The Fusion's relatively roomy interior has Sony-branded LCDs in the instrument cluster that can be configured for information display.
