2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (photos)

Jeep calls its 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 the Ultimate Performance SUV, and it's got the performance numbers to at least make that a plausible claim.

6.4-liter Hemi

Under the hood is an all-new 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 that produces 465 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. It's also 13 percent more efficient than the last generation's SRT8 variant.

The Grand Cherokee also gets an array of safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control, rear cross-path sensing, blind spot monitoring, and SmartBeam headlamps.
