As if you needed a reminder that the F-150 will dune-run with the best of 'em.

Ford's 2017 F-150 Raptor is likely the most-anticipated truck debut of the decade, unless Ram decides to throw a Hellcat motor into the Ram Rebel (which probably isn't gonna happen). To help tide us over until the launch, Ford Performance put out a video in which a new Raptor tears it up in the desert.

Some folks aren't exactly sold on the new Raptor yet. It's lost its V-8 engine and swapped in a 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6, which comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. But even though the engine is downsized, as you can see in the video below, the truck can still stomp its way through and over obstacles.

The Raptor should be out later this year, and the world is still waiting on almost all the important details, such as price and power output. But since it's coming out this fall, there isn't much longer to wait.
