Jaguar's 200 mph F-Type SVR is coming to Geneva

The fastest cat of all will sit atop a lineup of some of the best-sounding cars on sale today at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.

Cars are Andrew's jam, as is strawberry. After spending years as a regular ol' car fanatic, he started working his way through the echelons of the automotive industry, starting out as social-media director of a small European-focused garage outside of Chicago. From there, he moved to the editorial side, penning several written features in Total 911 Magazine before becoming a full-time auto writer, first for a local Chicago outlet and then for CNET Cars.

The Jaguar F-Type is already a loud, angry sports coupe. But Jaguar, and its Special Vehicle Operations division, weren't content to let sleeping dogs -- er, cats -- lie. Thus, the group has created the F-Type SVR, and it'll make its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.

Jaguar isn't giving away the whole surprise just yet -- specs, pricing and all that good stuff is still forthcoming. But we do know that it looks more aggressive than any F-Type before it, and it's apparently packing a new titanium exhaust. The standard F-Type is already cacophonic, and from the video below, it's only going to get crazier.

It'll also be available in both coupe and convertible variants, because why wouldn't you want to feel the wind in your hair at 200 mph?
