kwsanders - I cannot remember how long Steve Jobs mentioned that Apple would be supporting PowerPC based Macs, but I would not have thought they would have given up support of those of us who still have perfectly good PowerPC based systems. What do you think of the possibility of Apple doing away with support of the PPC chips in the upcoming OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard"?
chustar - If only Microsoft could do this with Windows.
They should end support for PPC and take every reference of it out of the code. You can still use Leopard and I don't think the PPC will be powerful enough to run 10.6 anyway.

eshaan - I am a long time user of windows, and I love it. Now I want to change my PC and was thinking to buy the Mac. My questions are:
1. how different is the apples mac to any PC in the market?
2. is the mac wroth the price?
