    Doing things with Linux while I keep Windoze alive. Why can Linux install itself, Open Office, Foxfire, Gimp and a dozen other apps unattended in 15 minutes while it takes MS 5 hours and constant attention to install XP, Explorer, Office & Photoshop?

    XP SP2; Ubuntu 7.0.4; Xandros 4

  • Machine:

    2.8 Gig Vaio with 19" Samsung display; Nec tablet - 933 MHz Both are dual-boot Windoze/Linux
