Short bio:
I cut my teeth on the Tandy/Radio Shack - TRS-80, and as Director of Technology for 15 years, built computers and networks from the old 10Base 2 cabling up through Gigabit fiber. Now I troubleshoot and support laptops, desktops, and their peripherals in my spare time. I need the T-Shirt that says "No, I will not fix your computer." -
Interests:
Hiking, backpacking the AT, paddling, swimming, acoustic guitar, reading. Getting away from the hubbub of all things electronic. I also teach beginning guitar and for that I use a combination of iPad, iPod, email, and Wikispaces -
Tech Interests:
I help K-12 teachers use the technology available to them to maximize their effectiveness. Students today see little relevance between what they are learning in schools. Technology helps to reduce the time and the space needed to create valuable and authentic projects that connect basic competencies in reading, language, math, and science to students' lives and interests. - Click here to report offensive content
