    I was born and raised in Colusa, California, where my parents are rice farmers. After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in English, I spent eight years in the book publishing world before joining CNET as the social media manager. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, and blogging, and my first novel, JACOB WONDERBAR AND THE COSMIC SPACE KAPOW, was published in May 2011.
