I've been into computers ever since my Dad let me mash the keys on a Compaq clone in the 1980s. From there, the addiction only got worse (or better, depending on your point of view). I have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of gadgets from cell phones to HDTVs, and love trying them out whenever I can.
Interests:
I'm a prolific writer and audio junkie: besides technology news, I join in forum discussions (including here at CNET) and listen to over two dozen podcasts at last count (several of which are CNET's).
