Just another child of the 70's waiting for my turn on the beach with my metal detector, white socks and sandals.
Opted out of any particular specialty for a more Renaissance Man point of view. Family, friends, and others who are supposed to feed us all that supportive BS say I should go on Jeopardy or write books (in my more lucid moments, I realize that this is probably to give me an outlet so I'll shut the *&%^ up).
Women; philosophy; religion; good food and conversation; beer; and Orienteering (for the youngsters, that's geocacheing without the wimpy GPS nonsense - just a sprint through the woods with nothing but a map and compass).
Love the hardware, a little soft on the software(never did any programing above the "home chemistry set" level).
Love to take off-the-shelf parts and make them do things they weren't designed to do.
Currently doing XP Home until Vista becomes mandatory.
Wal-Mart bought Compaq creep-along but working on rolling my own. Got the parts picked out and saving up my bucks for a good DuoCore.
