About Me

  • Short bio:

Brian Donohue started the Daily rEvolution weblog in the summer of 2004 as an effort to attract swing voters into the Kerry camp. Well, it sort of went like a typical round of golf: smooth swing, nice contact, but no direction. Nevertheless, he kept on with the blog, realizing that the lefty political blogosphere lacked a tree-hugging, juice-chugging, New Age Taoist with a lousy short game.

I'm a blogger and website producer who has been a reviewer for the Webby Awards these past two years. I write and edit content for my 3-year old blog and by day earn my bread in corporate America as a Business Analyst.

Mac OS X (Panther and Tiger), Linux (several), XP
  • Machine:

System config? Which one? I have two Macs, a PPC machine that dual-boots Ubuntu and Panther, along with an old P4 Gateway that runs XP, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, and MEPIS Linux. Currently, an ancient Dell Latitude cpi laptop is also under my care.
