    Retired (old, of course) elec engineer, heavy into computers later in career. Still involved now. Low key consultant even. Play lots with old laptops (fix up etc). Do a bit of programming. Getting into Linux.
  • Interests:
    Not many really. Bit of travel. Help wife with her pottery collection (Van Briggle and Lenox).
  • Tech Interests:
    Computer hardware and use, but NOT much into the newer stuff. Linux -- working toward making it my primary system OS. Digital cameras, and uses, Electronics in general.

    Win98se, Windows 2000 Pro, DOS, Linux
  • Machine:
    Lots of different systems (use removable HDs in one tower), plus laptops etc. Pentiums I, II and III. Adequate memory. HDs all way up to 20GB. Systems: Compaq DeskPro, Armada, NEC and IBM laptops. LCD monitors.
