    First degree in languages, then worked for Ford till early retirement in 1996. Did an MA in Theology after retirement. Married, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, one granddog, various computers (new, old, very old, laptop).

    When I"m not involved with my local Church (Church of England), then it"s flying (Piper Arrow III), Astronomy, Amateur Radio (G3OIT), playing with the grandchildren, or enjoying our little place in the country.

    1 and Laptop: XP Pro 2 2: Knoppix 4.0.2 3: NT
  • Machine:
    Main machine is Pentium 3,5GHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, DVD-RD, DVDROM, CDRW, Win XP Pro 2, and all the usual peripherals. The old machine is the "Linux play box", changing often as I learn to use Linux. The Laptop is a Thinkpad R31.
