    working with computers since 1970 and with PC's since 1978 (before IBM started making them.) Retired, I still repair & fix PC's for others in my "spare" time and fiddle with my own at home as a hobby.

    My wife, our two dogs, and reading science fiction.

    XP Pro & Ubuntu Linux

  • Machine:

    PC#1 XP Pro on Tyan Tiger 100 dual PIII CPUs with 1gb PC133 RAM PC#2 Ubuntu Linux on FIC-6110 mobo, PIII, with about 700mb PC133 RAM PC#3 AMD X2 dual-core 5200+ with 1gb of 667mhz RAM. Used with Ubuntu Linux + dual-booting other OS's as desired.
