I'm not so much a techie as some. I'm a casual user of technology. In other words, from reading CNET, Consumers Reports and PC World, and the Technology Section of the Washington Post; I know a little about a lot of things but still need assistance with the details, so I don't get a lemon. I've worked with computers in one form or another since oh about 1985 but didn't have my own for a long time after that. Hmm. My first was a Pentium 4, 400. Does that tell you anything?
