I joined this site because it has been my best place to find free software. My tech skills are nothing to sneer at, either. My proficiency with technology is mostly thanks to my sheer persistence. I am constantly tweaking my system, and, while I'm not always successful, it teaches me a great deal about computers. Because my intellect is so great, I can learn a lot through just trial-and-error. Admittedly, I have screwed my system up more than twice before, but each setback I encounter also gives me that much more knowledge. I have become somewhat of a pro while messing with my (relatively) old laptop, and I can assure you I am quite the advanced user. -
