If you're looking for a Wi-Fi router that can also function as a hub for home automation, TP-Link has something in store for you. The networking vendor announced today the all-new SR20 Smart Home Router with Touchscreen atin Las Vegas. This is an all-in-one router that can also work as an Internet of Things (IoT) hub.
TP-Link says the router support ZigBee and Z-Wave, the two popular wireless IoT standards. As a home networking device, it's an AC1900 router with the top speed on the 5GHz band of 1,300Mbps and up to 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band.
With the support for IoT wireless standard, the SR20 Smart Home Router can act as the hub for entire home, including both networking clients, such as computers and tablets, and IoT-ready appliances, such as refrigerators, light bulbs, washers, dryers and so on.
The router also has two USB ports (one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0), allowing users to share files and media stored in an external drive. Like most home routers, it has four Gigabit LAN ports and one Gigabit WAN (Internet) port.
The SR20's key features include:

The SR20 Smart Home Router is slated to be available in the second quarter of the year, with pricing to be announced then.
