Dell XPS M140 series

Along with the M170, the XPS M140 is part of Dell's new XPS luxury line. The thin-and-light XPS M140 combines highly configurable components with static ones. Your options include four Intel Pentium M processors with speeds between 1.73GHz and 2.13GHz; 512MB to 2GB of blazing 533MHz memory; a superspeedy 60GB, 7,200rpm drive and four 5,400rpm drives with capacities between 40GB and 100GB; a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive or a double-layer DVD burner; and 802.11b/g or a/b/g Intel Pro/Wireless cards. Each XPS M140 comes with an economical Intel 915GM chipset and a 14.1-inch wide-aspect display, and you can opt for a color-enhancing TrueLife coating on the screen. Though the M140 starts cheap, superior configurations do get slightly pricey. Still, its appealing design, speedy productivity performance, and lengthy battery life will appeal to home and small-office users with multimedia aspirations.
