Don't be fooled by the blue. The Dell UltraSharp U3014 is meant for color-critical work with its PremierColor technology. Dell

It's been a few years since the UltraSharp's last iteration, but Dell's back with a new 30-inch monitor, the UltraSharp U3014. According to Dell, the high-performance display will offer detailed images and color accuracy up to industry standards with its 16:10 aspect ratio and 2,560x1,600-pixel resolution.

Details about other specifications are sparse, but its design features an eco-friendly approach that meets various environmental standards, and it provides ergonomic flexible viewing options.

Dell also announced a single monitor arm and dual monitor stand for select models. The arm and stand provide options for height adjustability, tilt, swivel, and pivot features that work with the U3014, U2713H, U2413 , and select Dell monitor panels.

According to Dell the U3014 is "coming soon" with a price tag of $1,499. That's a standard price for a monitor this size, but with the recent trend of affordable 27-inch WQHD (2,560x1,440) monitors , the appeal of 30-inchers is beginning to wane.
