U.S. Cellular's ZTE Grand S Pro
Available for $99.99 on contract with U.S. Cellular, or $390 without a carrier agreement, the Grand S Pro is a high-end device from ZTE.
Deceptively on the heavy side
The device measures 5.6 inches wide, 2.8 inches tall, and 0.4 inches wide. Weighing 5.48 ounces, it is notably heavier and denser than other devices its size.
Running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
The handset runs the rather dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and has the standard package of Google apps you’d expect, such as Chrome, Drive, Gmail, Plus, Hangouts, and Photos.
A stylish matte look
As one of ZTE’s more premium models, this 4G LTE phone features a clean, smooth design with curved edges, rounded corners, and a pleasing matte finish. On the back is the 13-megapixel camera.
Comfortable curvy buttons
Its physical buttons, like the volume rocker here located on the left edge, bulge out ever so slightly from the surface, making them easy to feel for and comfortable to press.
A bright 5-inch display
The Grand S Pro’s 5-inch display has a 720x1,280-pixel resolution. It's understandably not as sharp as other 1080p screens I’ve seen, but the display is still responsive and bright.
Quad-core processor inside
The device is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor and a removable 2,300mAh battery, which should last you about 10 hours of talk time.
A look up top
Additional features include 8GB of internal memory (which is expandable up to 32GB via a miscroSD card slot), 2GB of RAM, and Bluetooth 4.0.
