Dual-SIM capabilities for $219

You may have never heard of Yezz, but you can find most of this Miami-based mobile distributor's phones in Latin America. Its latest quad-core device is the Andy AC5, a dual-SIM handset available for $219.

13-megapixel camera on the back

The handset's 13-megapixel camera has a number of features like geotagging, color effects, different scene modes, a timer, continuous shooting, and the option to let users adjust the exposure, white balance, sharpness, hue, and ISO levels of a picture.

Attractively slim profile

With its appealing 0.39-inch (9.91mm) profile, the device is thin. I'm fond of its subtly curved edges and matte battery door, which give it a more austere and modern look.

Not-so-crisp 5-inch display

The 5-inch qHD screen is sensitive and responsive to the touch, but it isn't very crisp. Apps and images look grainy, there's aliasing around text and simple menu icons, and even default wallpapers look crunchy.

A bit of a mixup

Below the display are three hotkeys that light up when in use for back, home, and what looks to be recent apps. However, the button on the right actually launches the settings function. To actually access recent apps, you'll need to long-press the center home button.

Decent specs inside

The AC5 runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a removable 2,000mAh battery, with the latter providing a reported talk time of about 14 to 16 hours.
