Xiaomi's latest phablet goes head-to-head with Apple's iPhone 6 Plus on specs -- but it has good looks all its own.
The phone is clad in curved glass on both the front and rear. The result is a premium-looking device at half the price of the competition.
The phone is slim at just 6.95mm at its thickest, and it sports curved edges to fool you into thinking it's even thinner.
The steel frame holds it all together.
The black version is quite the stunner and looks better, in my opinion, than the white version.
Xiaomi has managed to do away with the bump you see on the back of the iPhone 6 Plus for its 13-megapixel camera. Despite this it still crams in optical image stabilization.
The phone sports physical buttons -- Xiaomi is not likely to use onscreen keys anytime soon for its products.
The black version looks great here, but bear in mind that fingerprint smudges will be a lot more visible than on the white model.
The company also launched the Mi Headphones, which take advantage of the Mi Note's built-in audio amplifier.
One-handed use is pretty easy with the Mi Note -- simply swipe (either to the right or left) on the home button.
