At the Detroit auto show, Volkswagen showed off its New Compact Coupe, a hybrid it says will get 45 mpg.
DETROIT--Volkswagen unveiled its New Compact Coupe hybrid concept car Monday at the North American International Auto Show here. The car will get 45 miles per gallon by combining a four-cylinder gasoline engine from the company's TSI with a 1.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, the company said.
