Virgin's Android first
Virgin Mobile finally has an Android phone in its prepaid lineup, and its name is Samsung Intercept. The Intercept features Android 2.1, a 32GB memory card slot, and a slew of other Android goodies.
Slide factor
The Intercept slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard to go along with its touch screen.
Quality QWERTY
The Intercept's QWERTY keyboard struck us for its usability, just as it did when the phone released for Sprint.
Soft touches
The softer side of Samsung comes out in the comfortable soft-touch finish on the back cover.
The microSD card slot holds up to 32GB memory. There's also a 3.5-millimeter headset jack to accompany the built-in music player.
Shutter focus
The 3.2-megapixel camera takes decent enough photos. Although we appreciate the self-portrait mirror, we'd appreciate the option of a flash more.
