HTC's Android superphone, the $199 One X, has finally landed in the U.S. on AT&T's network. This stylish Ice Cream Sandwich device doesn't pack quad-core processing, but its 4G LTE connection, robust camera, and swift performance certainly sweeten the deal.

Boasting a big 4.7-inch (1,280x720-pixel) Super LCD display, the $199 HTC One X features the familiar HTC weather clock widget front and center. A tab at the bottom of each home screen has shortcuts to basic phone functions but can easily be reconfigured to your tastes.

On back of the HTC One X is its main 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. Using HTC's new ImageSense technology, it snaps pictures fast, focuses quickly, and provides plenty of extra features, filters, and shooting modes.

At 0.36 inch thick, the HTC One X manages to keep a slim profile considering its large screen.

Like other recent HTC Sense devices, the HTC One X comes preloaded with the company's Watch app. There you'll find TV shows and movies for download to make downtime more fun. Of course Google's Play store also provides similar content.

The HTC One X's 8MP camera settings are very comprehensive. Standard features such as face detection, auto smile capture, and panorama are here as well as continuous shooting, slow-motion capture, and an HDR mode.

Special effects like this alien ship emerging from the depths in the "Battleship" movie trailer look great on the HTC One X's bright 4.7-inch screen.
