Motorola has lifted the lid on the Moto X Style, a massive Android mobile that's desperate to be your new favourite gadget. Click through to check out this fast-charging, big-screened mobile from every angle. But before you do, a note on that rather confusing name -- Motorola is calling this phone the Moto X Pure in the US (where you'll get it direct from Motorola and with universal banding), but it's called the Moto X Style elsewhere, hence the double-naming.

To help it fit in your hand, the gigantic phone has a curved back and rounded edges. A mobile this massive won't be for everyone, however -- we recommend holding one for yourself before throwing down any cash.

The Moto X Style has a 5.7-inch display, with a 2,560x1,440 pixel resolution. That's very sharp indeed, and an upgrade from the current Moto X.

It's running Android Lollipop, which isn't the very latest version of Android (that honour belongs to the recently-revealed Android M), but it's still very fresh software that grants you access to a wealth of apps and features.

The back panel is highly customisable, using Motorola's own 'Moto Maker' online service. Options include a range of bright colours, wood and leather.

Motorola says the Moto X has 50 percent more charge and 10 more hours of power than Samsung's Galaxy S6.

More light, faster focusing and better colours are some of the touted camera features.

In the US you can buy the Moto X Pure Edition, which has universal LTE banding.
