Tumblr for Android gets a refresh (pictures)
We take a look at the newest version of the Tumblr app for Android, with its refreshed interface and nifty navigation buttons.
Dashboard
From the app, you can scroll through your feed just like you can on the Web.
Profile page
The third navigation tab takes you to a page with notifications and all of your profile info. From here, you can also change Tumblr settings.
Create a post
With the newest update to the app, all of the post buttons are hidden under a single Create post button sitting at the bottom of the screen.
Bare-bones editor
The text editor works, but it doesn't have all the formatting tools that the Web version of Tumblr does.
Create an account
Not a Tumblr user yet? No problem. The app lets you create an account and start following other users.
No animations
Unfortunately, animated GIFs don't show up in the feed. You'll have to click through to see them in action.
