With that kind of volume, it takes a lot to get noticed, but a few developers have managed to do it with great success. Out of the 350,000 iPad apps, these 10 have risen to the top of the pile. Here's a look at the 10 highest-grossing iPad apps, according to Apple -- though the company didn't release the numbers for how much each app made.
Starting at No. 10 is Bingo Bash HD - Free Bingo Casino, which touts itself as "The #1 BINGO game in the world" with more than 2 million people playing every day.
With just about every casino game available, including slots, blackjack, roulette, and poker, this app will have you feeling like you're in Las Vegas, without all the smoke and mirrors. It's the No. 9 top-grossing iPad app of all time.
Farming experience game Hay Day lets you "get back to nature and experience the peaceful, simple life of working the land and rearing chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep." It comes in at No. 3 on the list of top-grossing iPad apps.
Though a recent entry in the App Store, Candy Crush Saga has enjoyed enormous success with casual gaming fans, making it the No. 1 top-grossing iPhone and iPad app of all time.
Even though there have been a lot of match-3 type games in the App Store over the years, Candy Crush Saga shows the evolution of the genre and how a simple game mechanic can still hold people's interest.
