A familiar design
The ZTE Render looks exactly like a Windows Phone should. It's just too bad you can't upgrade to Windows Phone 8.
Still, it is a simple and easy-to-use design. A silver trim runs around the 4-inch display.
You can personalize the home screen by adding tiles and moving them around. Below the display are the standard Windows Phone touch controls.
The back cover has a slight pattern that's visible in direct light.
The camera lens and flash rest in the top left corner.
On the right side you'll find the volume rocker and camera shutter. With a 0.5-inch profile, the Render has some girth.
The Micro-USB charger port is on the bottom end of the left spine.
