The newest Google Drive for Android (pictures)
Take a peek at the newest version of Google's cloud storage and file-syncing solution, available on Android.
Dashboard
From Google Drive's dashboard, it's easy to navigate to your own files, shared files, recently edited items, and anything you've made available for offline viewing. There's also a search tool always available at the top of the app.
Comments
Now, Google Drive lets you add, reply to, and resolve comments on Documents, right from the Android mobile app.
Spreadsheets powered up
Previously the app's biggest weakness, the Spreadsheets editor has been significantly improved and now works the way it was always supposed to. Simply single-tap a cell to pull up editing tools and an input bar.
File types
Google Drive makes it easy to view documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and drawings while on the go. Also, the controls at the top let you create or upload new files, and share files.
Filter options
The newest version of the Google Drive app lets you filter and sort items for an easier file-browsing experience.
Offline viewing
Traveling to a destination with questionable data signal? No problem. Just make your Google Drive files available for offline viewing.
