The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS is one stylish four-door
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe offers a stylish, and more fuel-efficient ride. Mercedes is offering three trim options: the CLS550, the CLS550 4MATIC and the high-performance CLS63.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS has the styling of a coupe with the comfort and functionality of a sedan.
One fuel-efficient feature of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is start/stop technology. Any time the AMG is in drive or neutral with the brake pedal depressed, the engine stops. The engine starts again when the brake is released.
Despite a slightly longer and wider body style, all three of the CLSes offer better fuel economy than that of previous years.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is still all about class.
For $94,900 (plus delivery charges), the CLS63 AMG offers a luxurious ride.
The high-performance CLS63 AMG offers standard safety features including active blind-spot assist and lane-keeping assist.
This top-of-line coupe is powered by the AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine. The 2012 CLS63 AMG also features a seven-speed MCT (multiclutch technology) sport transmission with an innovative start-up clutch that replaces the conventional torque converter.
With special front control arms and wheel hub carriers that provide wider track and more negative camber, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG has even a better grip in high-speed curves.
The 2012 CLS coupe will be available later this year.
