The Edyn Garden Sensor watches over your plants and sends you notifications when it's time to take action.

Edyn connects to Wi-Fi, so you can check on your plants from anywhere with the free iOS and Android apps.

Setting up Edyn is simple. Install the app, then press the button on the bottom of the device.

You'll see the LED above the button blink as it looks for a Wi-Fi signal. The app will walk you through the process, and the sensor will use your phone to find your Wi-Fi network.

Once it's connected, you can use that button to check on Edyn's battery status. Green means it's good to go.

After it's up and running, you can stick Edyn's stem into the soil of your garden so it can start taking measurements.

Edyn's sturdy, and I had no trouble pushing it into the ground.

Once the sensor is in place, use the app to find your specific plants and add them to your digital garden.

From there, you can track their growth and see tips for upkeep.
