Hands on T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 925
We already knew that Nokia's new global flagship, the Lumia 925, is headed our way for T-Mobile this summer. Yet it's still nice seeing the dedicated U.S. version for ourselves.
See? T-Mobile
Beyond the T-Mobile logo and U.S. network optimization and support, the U.S. 925 remains the same worldwide when it comes to the basic stats and specs. The device runs Windows Phone 8 OS on a 4.7-inch display, has a zippy dual-core processor, and an 8.7-megapixel camera. The 925 model adds an extra lens for a total of six, which Nokia says will make daylight photos extra sharp and bright.
Monochromatic
Nokia ditches the bright colors for this more subdued model. The 925 comes in white, black, and gray.
Color palette redux
While the frame is made from aluminum, the phone's back plate is polycarbonate, a type of hardened plastic.
If you really want a shot of color...
...then you can buy these after-market charging covers, which also include wireless-charging capabilities.
