We get hands-on in a closer look at the T-Mobile G2X. It has a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and support for T-Mobile's HSPA+ network.

As we said, the T-Mobile G2X comes with the 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. This gives it extra oomph as a gaming machine, and Nvidia has wisely added its own Android app that lets you purchase and download apps that are custom-designed to take full advantage of the phone's processing power.

In addition to the two stereo speakers you see here, the G2X has DTS Ultra Mobile, which combines two DTS technologies--Envelo and Boost--for enhanced surround-sound performance.

8-megapixel resolution
The 8-megapixel camera lens on the G2X is made with real glass, and it has an accompanying LED flash. It can record 1080p video too.

Stock Android
We're happy to note that the G2X comes with a stock Android interface. It ships with Android 2.2 Froyo and is upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

HDMI
The G2X has a Micro-HDMI port at the top so you can hook it up to a TV and see what's on your phone's display up on the big screen. The G2X also supports DLNA, if you prefer to stream your content instead.
