Meet the Sony Reader Daily Edition
A prototype of the Sony Reader Daily Edition is unveiled by Steve Haber, president of Sony's Digital Reading Business Division, at a press event at the New York Public Library on August 25, 2009.
Sony's largest, most full-featured Reader to date
The Daily Edition has a built-in AT&T 3G wireless connection. Like the Amazon Kindle, the wireless service--which allows for access to the Sony eBook Store and download of subscription periodicals--is effectively free to the consumer.
Go wide
The Reader Daily Edition includes a wide-screen 7-inch display that automatically adjusts from portrait (vertical) to landscape (horizontal) mode.
