Sony's 14.1-megapixel DSC-T99 camera is a more affordable T-series Cyber-shot model that will be available for about $250. With a CCD image sensor, the camera offers a above average shooting options for a lower-end touch-screen camera including a 4x f3.5-4.6 25-100mm-equivalent internal Carl Zeiss lens.
The T99 has very few buttons. While I'm not a fan of the zoom rocker Sony put on this model, I've used worse.
The T99 is less than 0.7-inch thick.
The T99 has a 3-inch touch screen that has a resolution of 230,000 dots.
To prove that it's a touch screen, Sony gave us this photo.
If you've ever wondered what the lens structure looks like with a camera that uses an internal lens, here you go.
The T99 comes in four colors to choose from!
