Smart scale apps for Android and iOS

The Fitbit app (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) can track steps, distance and calories burned with your phone or a Fitbit tracker. You can also pair it with MyFitnessPal, a popular nutritional database, and compete with friends.

The weight section displays how close you are to your goal and your trends over the past weeks.

The Withings app (Android and iOS) is simple and clean. It too can sync with MyFitnessPal for nutritional information.

The Garmin Connect app (Android and iOS) can be a bit complicated at times, but it does a good job at displaying all of your health informtion.

The Under Armour Record app supports a variety of fitness trackers from Jawbone, Withings, Misfit and more. The app will display information on steps, distance, calories burned and sleep. When paired with the Under Armour smart scale, the app displays graphs on wieght loss and body fat percentage.

The Pivotal Living app (Android and iOS) is similar to the Fitbit app. With a Pivotal Living fitness tracker, the app will display steps, calories burned, distance and sleep. While it doesn't sync with third-part apps like MyFitnessPal, it does include its own nutrional and hydration tracking tools.

Smart scale users can get even more data. The app displays data on weight, body fat percentage, lean body mass, basal metabolic rate and body mass index.
